About
Hello, I'm Hillel Lugo the owner, luthier and guitar tech. I have been repairing, restoring, and customizing guitars and string instruments since I was about 14 years old. At age 16, I began working in a local guitar repair shop in my hometown of El Paso, Tx. 3 years later, I was offered a full time apprenticeship under veteran luthier Baron Martin of Frets & Necks Guitar in El Paso. After a 6 year 1-on-1 apprenticeship, I relocated to the DFW area in 2007 to begin working in my own shop.

I offer service and repairs on guitars and various other string instruments with over 17 years professional experience as of 2018. I work out of my shop at my home so as to strive to keep my rates affordable and be near to my family. I do not have a store front, nor do I wish to. For this reason, as well as my fluctuating work schedule, I see my customers by appointment. I am located in the Northside Fort Worth area, near the intersection of Long and Angle.
